Hello, I'm Louise.  
Salon Director  

I've been in the business for 37 years, 27 of those years I've managed and run my own business's. For almost seven years, I have proudly held the position as salon director at Gorgeous Salon. After running my own salon for fifteen years, I came to gorgeous salon 7 years ago running my own chair and, in just three short months, assumed ownership. In addition, I provide part-time NVQ level 3 hairdressing training.

I adore learning new things and think that professional growth should never stop. We're always learning new things!  

Of course, it's not just me at the salon.
Ellie and Telia, who are employed by me, together with Lisa and Isla, who operate their own businesses out of the salon, make up our strong and skilled team of five professionals. As a passionate team, we work hard to be innovative and forward-thinking to deliver the greatest salon experience, client satisfaction, and excellent customer service.   

On a personal note,
I miss my beloved son Jack. RIP 29/12/2019. I love my family deeply and spending time with them, though equally love to party! I love learning and gaining knowledge, reading, travelling, and socialising.   

I can't wait to meet and work with you to get the style you desire, see you in the salon soon.

Hello I’m Isla @ Islashed


I took my first lash course in 2020 along side going to dance college. I realised I didn’t feel as passionate about dance as I thought I did and began to fall in love with doing lashes.
I started being a mobile lash technician and slowly built up my clientele, as I started to grow I was able to convert a room within my home into my own personal lash space for me and my clients. A year in my clientele grew even more and I went on to expand my knowledge and took on a brow, tint and wax course aswell as a biab nail course. Due to my lash room at home not being big enough to offer nails aswell, I took the leap to move on to a new salon working self employed, which was located in Birstall. I gained lots of new clients and a knowledge from working in a salon for the first time. A year later I wanted to expand even more to a bigger and busier salon. So here I am working self employed Islashed at Gorgeous salon. I continue to learn everyday from the girls at the salon and from me constantly wanting to learn more.

A bit about myself I love animals, I have a little pooch called Monty. I love socialising and meeting new people. My favourite thing to do is go on holiday. I want to continue my knowledge in beauty and hopefully have a place of my own to work.

My journey first started in Macedonia, I’ve been working in the uk for over 22 years, up skilling in hair and beauty. I’ve been hairdressing 18 years and beauty 14 years. I speak several languages Macedonian, Serbian, Bulgarian and English.
I’ve been working at Gorgeous Salon for 11 years.
I’m also full qualified in aesthetics
